  • Serve as Lead PI on a multi-year sargassum removal and monitoring project evaluating ecological impacts on kelp forest resilience.

  • Conduct kelp forest monitoring dives, including Giant Sea Bass behavior, fish community surveys, and Marine Protected Area assessments.

  • Expand citizen-science programs supporting Catalina marine conservation; manage organizational finances and contribute to grant development to sustain long-term research and education projects.
